You need a 25 character genuine product key which you have to purchase a specific license for Windows 7. **NOTE: I had asked if the 20 character key would work for activation and the response was yes. Since it was not 25 character, entering the key was “skipped.” While loading, I was asked to provide my Product key. Yours belongs to OEM which means, its either a System Builder license or came preinstalled on a new computer. That is not the product key, that is the product ID which identifies the product channel it belongs, OEM, Retail, Volume License. I now require some assistance as to what my next step will be.
